Obedience Level 1

Become a Little Moe's K9 Good Citizen!

Our Level 1 class is designed to lay the foundation for a well-behaved and well-adjusted canine companion. In this comprehensive course, you'll teach your dog traditional basic obedience moves, including sit, down, stay, come, heel position, and walking on a loose leash. But that's not all - we'll also dive deeper into essential skills, such as reading basic dog behavior, recognizing signs of stress, happiness, or fear, and learning how to address potential problems. Through interactive exercises and expert guidance, you'll gain confidence in handling common issues like jumping, barking, biting, and chewing. Our classes also include valuable socialization components, where you and your dog will participate in meet and greets with people and other dogs, practicing appropriate behavior in various situations.

By the end of this course, you'll have a solid understanding of how to: Navigate everyday situations, such as waiting at doors and ignoring distractions, managing unwanted behaviors, and fostering a strong, positive bond with your dog.

Upon registration, you'll receive a complimentary clicker and an informative booklet, complete with important resources and homework sheets to reinforce your learning.

Ages 2-6 months

In kindergarten class, you will learn the same things that are offered in our Level 1 class, but it is tailored to meet the needs of puppies!

Build on your dog's foundational skills and take their obedience to the next level!

Our Level 2 class focuses on refining essential behaviors, increasing reliability, and enhancing performance in real-life situations. In this course, we'll expand on basic obedience commands, covering advanced skills such as: Reliable recalls (come) in distracting environments, sit, down, and stand stays with duration and distractions, improved heel work and loose-leash walking, faster downs (drop) and longer stays, advanced meet and greets and socialization.

 To simulate real-life scenarios, we'll hold classes in various locations around town for at least two weeks. This will help your dog generalize their learning and respond promptly to cues in crowded areas, ignoring distractions and maintaining focus.

By the end of this course, you can expect your dog to: consistently respond to cues in diverse environments, demonstrate improved impulse control and focus, and show excellent social skills and confidence

Our Level 3 Obedience Class is designed for dog owners who want to challenge their well-behaved companions and strengthen their bond. This class is perfect for anyone looking to advance their skills, whether you're interested in competitive obedience or simply seeking a fun and engaging experience with your pet.

 In this class, you'll work towards advanced skills such as off-leash recalls, off-leash heeling, out-of-sight stays, and targeting exercises. You'll also learn competitive rally obedience signs and have the opportunity to put your skills to the test at the end of the course. To simulate real-world scenarios, we'll spend at least two weeks training in-town, applying your new skills in everyday environments.

This class is ideal for dog owners who have a solid foundation in basic obedience skills and are looking for a new challenge. Our expert instructors will provide guidance and feedback throughout the course, helping you and your dog grow and succeed together
